No problem. We just opened the venue with Chance and Jennifer Hudson. The video wall and room for games was a nice little off shoot we just tried out yesterday for first time. My wife and I are both Illini so it will def be an Illini and White Sox brewery / venue!!

Agreed, though the odds are against us. We've gone through (another) portion of the season with a number of injuries and during that stretch played 10 games against the Rays and Toronto. If we maintain this momentum we can catch up in the Central which only has one winning team which we're 6.5...

Where did ThaKid go? He was on here for ages. Wanted to play for the team first, then continued to follow (and drink Koolaid) for years. Was fun to read.

Heading to a family vacation and decided to stop here for the night. Hoping some of us have been here before and can recommend some spots for me to hit with the family. Hoping for some good local beer, great food, and low key atmosphere. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thread is falling off, so I'll try to revive:) I went to a couple good breweries in Bloomington, IL this past week while I was back. Lil Beaver is pretty solid, and Destil's brewpub was great. Also, Triptych in Savoy is putting out some good stuff. Central Illinois is looking good!!

At times, but not very frequently. I live in NYC, so there are always places willing to charge an arm and a leg for it:) It's amazing, and there are others catching up. From what I've heard, Noon Whistle is a solid offering for NE style IPAs if you're looking for something along those lines.

For those of you who might like big, NE style IPAs, try Noon Whistle in Lombard. They are making really good beer. As a FYI, NE style IPAs are cloudy, usually pretty strong beers. The Alchemist has Heady Topper, Equilibrium, Other Half, etc. are making these types of beer and are getting very...

There are some other Illini boards that are pretty nasty. Dan runs a tight ship, so I'd say IL is more an exception than the norm.
