My man packed Foellinger Auditorium on the regular. Good times. Close contest between Scanlon and Fred Gottheil for the GOAT. (99% chance I misspelled either Foellinger or Gottheil).
Whatever. That was like ONE day before it broke. All this proves is that Indy has access to information that we don’t, and shares it on this board before it becomes common knowledge. Ooooh, so special!

If I’m drafting a team for one game vs the aliens to save the world, I’m taking Brandon Paul over Malcolm Hill. But BP3 is one of my all-time favorites. I was going to look up the stats, but then I remembered this is the internet and I don’t need to support my assertions:)
Edit: I looked up...
Silliness.
A last second buzzer beater would be a groin kick loss. Loyola was a groin kick loss. Robbed by the refs. Best player gets hurt. When you have a team you think can win it all, the last loss is always a groin kick.

Domask’s...
Domask alone makes this year’s transfer group “super incredible”. There are only five spots for all big ten first team… to get one with a low-NIL transfer is insane. With TSJ and Hawkins returning, it’s not like we were offering “alpha” spots.
Agreed. I really hope TSJ is completely innocent. But regardless, the University did a great job of protecting themselves with how the suspension/injunction worked out. Signing this dude would undo that protection in my opinion.
I would hope Whitman vetoes this one.
The NIL piece makes it all very interesting. Dain isn’t gonna get NBA money, so he absolutely should be looking to maximize his college basketball income.
And Illinois needs to decide if they’re willing to match his best offer for an offensively-skilled, but defensively-limited big man.
We had two possible ways to win:
1. Bench Clingan with fouls
2. Shoot lights out
We failed SPECTACULARLY at both.
If you take out our 1 for 19 second half start… we still only shot 33%.
For all those who poo-poo the Big Ten Tournament, today was a good reminder of why conference tournaments are great. 67 out of 68 NCAA tournament teams end their season with a loss.
So glad we got to enjoy a three game run against conference rivals that ended with cutting of nets and a trophy...
