In other college golf news……#1 UNC is getting boat raced at the Valspar. Such is golf. Tough to be at the top of your game consistently and there are so many good collegiate players now.
Back 9 has been much easier for the whole field unfortunately. Two short par 5’s make the scoring much better. Hopefully they can get hot and close it out. Would be a great response after a really tough first 9 holes yesterday.
Too much inconsistency. Nobody willing to give up much to roll the dice on an unproven QB at the end of his rookie deal.
Let’s just hope they get the right guy in the draft!
If they could rally and take 3rd that would be quite an accomplishment considering they are going to be counting the same 4 guys in every round. Hunt just can’t seem to find any consistency. The lineup the rest of the year is going to be interesting.
You should tell Roger Goodell that the Cowboys built a new stadium in 2009. If the Bears build a new stadium in 2027 should we be looking for some results in 2045 or so?
The executives at Draft Kings thank you for your integrity as they carry out the Lords work. Not sure they would have survived. They are only generating about 3 billion in annual revenue.
Against my better judgment I will engage with this. Do you think the entire 49ers team was on board with this? The officiating certainly didn’t seem influential.
I think for all the expense that goes into it the game needs to generate national attention to make it worth while. Can’t imagine the NHL has an appetite for a Blue Jacket and Coyote matchup outdoors, where they spend tons of money for nothing.
The part that got me from the judges ruling is “there is some likelihood of success on the merits”. I took it as she is referencing the merits of the criminal charge case. I didn’t think that would be factored in? Perhaps I am reading it wrong.
I think broadly a decision to grant the TRO would be viewed as an unpopular decision. There is a small subset of Illini basketball fans who might view it a different way, but not allowing a school to suspend a player with these serious charges pending is the reason you might slip it in late on...
I get the frustration. I don’t think you should direct blame toward the DIA however. What are they supposed to do. Never suspend a student athlete no matter what they are charged with, even if the evidence of guilt is overwhelming? Appoint some panel to try and pre determine whether a student...
Yep. If this goes to trial with little more than we know today a jury will decide based on credibility of the accuser and accused. Not sure what would be let in but rest assured both sides will attempt to character assassinate the other.
