love the Lafferty add and that we got him for effectively nothing

It's a fine add. He's a fourth liner. If he's used on a second or first line or he blocks one of the young guys, then it will be a bad trade.love the Lafferty add and that we got him for effectively nothing

Question is whether they will ever have a capable coach who can lead them to the promised land?plenty to be excited about, but the Hawks are a bottom 5 team most likely. the great news is that a lot of kids are close or closer. and then there's a second and third wave behind them. the veteran placeholder days are nearly over. Frondell is tearing up the SHL as a 19 yo. Kantserov is tearing up the KHL on an expiring contract at 21. really looking forward to seeing Moore and Lardis in Rockford. not hard to imagine a much stronger team next year
Do you have anyone in mind?Question is whether they will ever have a capable coach who can lead them to the promised land?

It's what bad teams do.Telling graphic from the broadcast:
In games tied last year going into the 3rd period, Florida tied for the lead league in eventual wins with 14.
The Blackhawks came in last place with only 3 wins.
I can't even remember those wins. They always play teams close in the first 2 periods but manage to lose in regulation or overtime.
I guess it's a product of youth.
I thought Kaiser looked great. Rinzel, Kaiser, Levshenov and Vlasic are a blue line future to be excited about. Hopefully Korchinski can make some strides.
2 for 2 in losing tied 3rd period games. At least we got a point.Telling graphic from the broadcast:

There were some bad calls in the 3rd period. We should have had another PP or two.
I can already see some growth. The future is looking better.

Only shame is that they play in what a friend of mine likes to call the division of death.
Perfect 3 for 3. This one hurt the most. Whatever is the opposite of home cooking is what we got from the refs.2 for 2 in losing tied 3rd period games. At least we got a point.
Can’t remember the last time the Hawks put a beat down like that on another team. Sorry Blues!
