Yeah we were unlucky on some close layups rolling out or off. They were as lucky as a team can be with long high bouncing landing in or Mullins banking a three. Geez.
Yep, missed calls certainly changed the game. Wagler was mugged and then Mullins gets a three point play. Other no calls underneath, then they hit a big shot. A few no calls certainly impact a game. Im glad we fought back but cold shooting was the difference. I can't stand Hurley.
Maybe, but we could of done more stunting and blitzing. When we did that the defense did better. When we sat back and played zone with DBS playing ten yds off receivers with no pressure, then we stunk it up. I think scheme did play into it too.
Clearly the Wisconsin Defensive front was better than the three transfers that came to the Illini. We haven't had much of a push all year, especially when Jacas drops back.
