Wow! Robert made a reference to Dwayne Smith. I coached that kid way back in 1991-92 in Rantoul. He was 5th grader that started on the 6th grade team I coached. Great kid!!!

I hear you about 'Wrestling Match'/'Beans & Weanies' MAC hire. But, we just hired the wrong Toledo coach. Ask those people in Ames, IA how they feel about hiring a MAC coach from Toledo. :)

After reflecting on the short bench that hurt us in the TBT, I was thinking about other Illini Alums who could help next year. Tracy Abrams? Mike Davis? Billy Cole? Ray Rice(who was committed this year but dropped off the roster)? Brandon Paul? Maverick Morgan? Tyler Griffey?

Thank you 'House of Paign' for an enjoyable distraction this past week! Our lack of depth killed us at this stage in the tourney(3 bench players isn't enough). Black looks to be out of basketball shape. Coach Sullinger was clearly yelling for his players to attack Black and go to the hoop. He was saying something like "Every time! 12 can't play no defense" to encourage his squad to take Black one on one when they were on offense.

Not quite sure which is worse - getting punked by former recruits for the second year in a row OR having to watch Clownzo gloat in the post game interview??

What was that? Maybe a lack of energy during the shoot around? Maybe we didn't have the players to match up with Mizzou? OR MAYBE OUR COACH DID A POOR JOB OF GETTING OUR GUYS READY FOR A BRAGGIN' RIGHTS GAME?????

Do you think Mark Smith understands the irony of his jersey reading "Ma. Smith". Kind of smells like softness.

Illinois didn't show up in any aspect of the game today! Dominated on the line of scrimmage both ways. Of course injuries were a part of it, but it was disappointing to see such a lack of effort from the team(and coaches) on what should have been a positive Senior Day for this group. Hopefully...
