Very likely. While BIG was not strong and NE sked was kind of soft, they would have been 14-4, with no real bad losses.

Those OSU wins were about all PSU had on their resume. Not to diminish those, but the rest of the resumes probably favored NE. There's more to it than just best wins - road wins, bad losses. But you're right, Syracuse is the kind of team that has to tumble to help PSU, or NE.

It looks like they both need SEVERAL teams to flame out in their conference tourneys. And then no upsets in conference tourney finals. PSU looks like the better team, the resumes similar, maybe slight edge to Nebraska. IMO, both likely out.

ITA on OSU. Nice year but they were leaking a little oil as season ended. Non con not impressive. Probably good for 1 win. Too much reliance on KBD?
