Actually, unlike our "revenue teams" this team is a WINNER. They may have lost in the semifinals, but remember they lost in the semifinals. Great effort and great team need to be celebrated. Thanks ladies you have made the Illini nation proud

Great team win. Hardy's win was special. Everyone else struggled mightily down the stretch but he played well enough to win. And birdie on the last is the way to finish Big Ten career in style. On to the Regionals. Never know what happens in golf. If they get hot they can take down anyone...

Hardy and Meyer halved matches as they were over as soon as the team competition was decided. Meyer was back and forth all day and Hardy had rallied to tie. Young Guys will decide teams fate this year. All have ability. Need to improve over winter. Great experience for all.

Depth is key. Would be nice to win three years in a row. Fantastic experience and recruiting event for Illini.

Hardy finished T-3 in stroke play. Starting Round of 16 match play tomorrow morning at 845. Just keeps getting better.

Played some great golf on Sunday. Success on tour helps make Illinois even hotter destination for golf than it is already. Just wish Sergio wouldn't have tied him on last hole.

Just a thought or two on the end of this golf season. Was a great run yet again, that just fell short. Qualified for Final 4 yet again. That is an amazing accomplishment in any sport but especially difficult in golf. The Illini are most definitely a "blue blood" in golf. I am proud of them...

With the addition of Mr. Smith, we now have 4 guards who can take the ball to the hole and create something off the dribble. TeJon and the 3 freshman give us a dynamic we have not had in a loooong time. Lets see what Coach U can do with these creative players. Now if we can find some shooters...

For me it is simple I like watching the Illini win. Nothing more than that. No analysis necessary other than it wasn't pretty. Doesn't mean anything for next year. That being said I would love three more wins this year.
