Not sure. Seems most of the Trinity kids (exception: Isaiah) were fairly overrated/overhyped. Cannon also had some Semrau-like trajectory across his HS time, and seems he wasn't good enough to get much tick at all at UL. I'm hoping the portal holds better options

Hopefully, that is coming as well. They also have a bunch of promising Fr/Soph (as always)

Lovie gave up on recruiting by then, but I am guessing BB couldn't offer until recently due to taking Coach Hawthorne on staff. Would love to see us make some grounds to rebuilding that ESL pipeline (Dana, James, Hawthorne, Green, etc.)

Weber had done plenty to harm the bball program by then. It was done. The football program was far in the cellar by Thomas time He didn't tear down anything, but he was terrible at coaching hires

Meh, Zook was done. He could no longer recruit. Beckman was a terrible hire, but that doesn't change the fact that we were late in firing Zook

STL 4* TE Mac Markway decommitted from UF amid their coaching change. I'm sure Mizzou, Iowa, and ND will be all over this one, but BB should put in some feelers

While true, Wisconsin doesn't have the fertile recruiting radius that UI does. Not saying BB will load classes with 4*, but we located much more centrally to CHI/STL/IND. If you're a believer that directionally distance matters in recruiting (I am), then BB should have more quality at-bats...

Aside from possibly some spot minutes for Isiah, pretty much none of those guys would see the field on a decent team. The offense needs huge upgrades at QB, WR, and OL. But hey, the RBs should be pretty good

PWO would be fantastic, but if we're hosting him for an OV, I presume he is hoping for/expecting a scholarship offer, no?

Not confident in the top 3, but hopefully there's a shot at the bottom 3

Wouldn't be surprised if he's a DL now. He was pretty big in HS, and I'm sure has put on weight in a S&C program

A few things here: 1) Drink is (unfortunately) a very good, energetic recruiter 2) He signaled from Day 1 that they were going to put a ton of effort into the state, and STL specifically and they've done that 3) He's got plenty of local support to help build momentum. It's why he can get Luther...

Likely not a surprise. Seems like they've been the heavy favorite since the beginning
