I think 3 B1G schools will be right around the Top 5 at the end of the season. Illinois, Ohio State and Purdue. Maybe Michigan as well but I guess I'm lower on them than most. Imo Gonzaga and Texas will be the best non-B1G teams.
Kind of crazy too because not only are they a really good program, they play a super exciting brand of basketball. And bring in awesome athletes and have had a lot of NBA players recently.
I don't think Plummer would have transferred to a program where he wouldn't start. He played 28 MPG last year and is a starting caliber player. Plus, I think they'll want a shooter of his like in the starting lineup to play off Curbelo.
Where do the Illini finish the reg season standings in the B1G with this team?
Starters: Curbelo, Frazier, Plummer, Grandison, Cockburn
2nd Unit: Williams, Hutcherson, Hawkins, Payne
Freshmen/Deep Bench: Goode, Melendez, Podziemski
Could be as simple as wanting to keep track of OA and a program he's come to have connections with over the past few weeks. Whether he transfers to UK or not, he undoubtedly has relationships there.
