It has to do with the Gentle Hunt recruitment. Bret retweeted Hunt's commitment tweet just before posting this, he was probably busy the last few days and just got around to it.

This is why sports writers should wait until the portal season is done. After taking a glance at the article, the writer says that we have made no additions and only lost players to the portal. So both Terrance Brooks and Gentle Hunt are not taken into account for the grades.

There have been rumors that he stopped going to classes this spring and couldn't get into Kansas because of his grades. If that is true he wouldn't be able to get into Illinois.

The top 5 teams

They have 4 starters returning for their senior year, it is highly unlikely that they are going to get an elite wing. I could see them going for another center, but it would probably be someone younger that they see a future with.

That would be nice to have, but I just don't see a player that over the last 2 seasons averaged around 24 minutes per game and started 54 games agreeing to be an end-of-the-bench player in his junior year.

No way. Unless some crazy scandal happens I would guess Bret has 2 or 3 more years to get us to another bowl game. I could see Aaron Henry being on the hot seat if the defense has another bad season.
