Was in attendance for tonight’s game, biggest take aways:
1: Kofi’s free throws were more clutch than it may seem. Did not expect him to hit at the rate he did but a very nice surprise.
2: Defense was shaky at the 3pt line early on on Teske, but Kofi adjusted fairly quickly and after Teske...
I mean I get you’re down in the dumps, as am I, but that’s not a fair assessment in any way shape or form. No one saw Nunn as an NBA player in his time at ILL, just got to grow and learn. Just hope it happens sooner than later.
Does this hurt, yes. Lot of growing to do with a young club. Am I optimistic, not anymore. But still have faith. Just have to do a lot of growing in a short amount of time. 1 win in the next 2 games and we’re asking ourselves how this game happened. Illinois football had a similar drop off...
Not to sound like a pessimist but I think a strong run out of the half by AP and this game is in the books. We looked beat before we even started this game. Normally I’m pretty positive but this game is a little different than most.
