ugh....I feel sick.....

Playing fast is great if you think fast and make good decisions in passing. Saw too much of the opposite that half. But, with all the new players trying to find their way...it is not unexpected. Too many horrid passes out front going to covered players. Got to move faster when you don't have the ball as it is too easy to deny a stationery player.

Don't know what to expect in the second half as AP wants to play fast and are forcing the pace. Leads to an ugly game. What I don't expect is much of a slower pace coming up...just have to make good, solid plays and passes. Careless passes need to disappear and off ball players have to move faster.

This is about as ugly as it gets. BU could break a chair in half and throw it across the floor and it would make a difference. Sometimes teams come out like zombies. The only way to get out of that funk is for the players to wake up and start making some easy buckets. This looks like it’s going to be a slog all game though.

Revsine and Settles at halftime make me even sicker..

there is a lot of contact not being called, but we are standing around waiting for someone else to make a move...somebody has to take control on the court for the Illini

Not to sound like a pessimist but I think a strong run out of the half by AP and this game is in the books. We looked beat before we even started this game. Normally I’m pretty positive but this game is a little different than most.

Settles just said what I’m thinking — they’re overplaying us a ton and backdoors should be there. If we wake up.

I don't know why we've been so bad in the first half of games, but I sure hope we pick it up in the second.

Ive seen this team make good halftime adjustments all season. I hope for the same tonight and a more comfortable 10+ point win.

This team needs to create a game start mentality of playing like a crazed banshee...right from the first tick. Defense breeds energy when successful, and they need that energy to start games. It creates an aggressive mindset that permeates the entire team. When you don't have talented bigs...you must have talented guards creating havoc.
