Mid-pack bloodbath continues with Minnesota beating Rutgers.

Auburn is good but not dominant. I can’t understand why the talking heads praise Bruce Pearl and never discuss how shady he is. I guess if you don’t talk about it it never happened
Look up the Titus & Tate episode on you-tube where they discuss Auburn and its ascension... they are always vigorous in saying that Pearl is a scumbag, going back to mentioning the Deon Thomas affair... but of course, you are right that most of the media just thinks about who is winning... of course, it is also true that being a scumbag and being a good coach are not mutually exclusive (witness Rick Pitino)

First upset of the day was Army...down 27...coming back t beat Navy in OT. Was stunned to find out the two have 51 players on the roster between them.

Then the Missouri State Bears hand #22 Loyola of Chicago their first home loss in 30 games. Isiah Mosley scored 40 for his second time this year...43 against N. Iowa. Coach Ford described him as a "walking basket" who could make any shot at any time....and he has pretty much proven that this year.

As I type, Kansas State leads Kansas by 4 with 3:35 to play in the game.

Being an old Field Artillery Lt., living in Springfield, Mo., and having served at Ft. Riley while living in Manhattan, Ks., this is a pretty good day for an old hoopsfan. Go Wildcats!!

But it was deserved after a horrible day yesterday for a 65 year Illini hoopsfan.

And all of them on scholarship!

We're dropping out of the top 25, so none of this really matters, but thank freaking goodness Loyola lost. If we're not in the top 25, I sure as heck don't want to see them in there.

We lost to a dumpster. Cannot recall by how much. If that at all matters. (THAT was a bad loss)
