Rutgers wins at Indiana.

Considering the way the two teams most recent games, this is a bit of a surprise.
I’m still shocked Indiana beat Iowa. They haven’t been impressive except for that game. Just goes to show you anything can and will happen.

Iowa can’t afford to have cold shooting nights because they don’t guard anyone
I think this is overplayed. They aren’t good, but they are fairly average. Not far behind OSU and PU in defensive efficiency.

They are closer to Nebraska than they are to OSU, albeit by 0.5 points per 100 possessions against an average offense.

It is definitely a weakness and when they're not scoring at an elite clip, it makes them quite beatable.

For reference, there's one team in the top 40 on kenpom with a worse def efficiency rating... and that's number 40 LSU. Iowa isn't world ending bad, but they rank almost 40 spots lower than OSU and more than 20 compared to PU. I believe their def efficiency is worse than every B1G team except Nebraska.

So while in terms of all of D1 basketball, they are actually above average, they have one of the worst def efficiencies in all of P6.

KenPom takes into account strength of schedule. I'm not sure if that version does.
