Oscar Tshiebwe vs Kofi would be such an epic matchup. Tshiebwe is just a relentless rebounder, kind of reminds me of Rodman in terms of getting to the ball by clearing horizontal space.

Tubelis is a bit banged up (injured) and only has 2 points and Mathurin has only 6. Combined, they had 48 against us in a full game. UCLA could easily be a final 4 team this year (like last year).

Mathurin has had his shot blocked 4 times in the 2nd half. UCLA up by 10 with 8 minutes left. AZ with a 43 to 28 rebound edge, but only shooting 30% versus 52% for UCLA.

Can we have this version of AZ the regressing wildcats... in a rematch?

Or maybe UCLA is an elite lockdown team that makes top 5 teams look weak?
I watched only the first half, but the tempo seemed three or four steps faster than our games.

MSU seemed to push it maybe close to AZ and UCLA but we have taken a few steps back, maybe because our regular go-to guy is seven foot tall and we need to get him into position before we run the plays.

I like the up-tempo game. Maybe when Belo returns fully...

To be fair, AZ could have just been tired. They played at Stanford 1/20 and at California 1/23 before playing at UCLA last night.

I watched most of the second half and AZ took terrible care of the ball - seemed like every time down the floor was either a TO or almost one.

UCLA didn't play that well. Arizona played that bad. Kriisa was 0-12. Mathurin was 5-22 after starting 2 of 3. Arizona shot 30% from the field 25% from three and 55% from the free throw line. If we played that Arizona team in Champaign we definitely win. UCLA played them pretty physical and the refs allowed it. Seemed to really take them out of their game.
