Really hated to see him leave CU
Long Kruger is a gentleman, great coach and very easy to like. Always wondered if Lou was on advisory committee for his selection for Illini coach...?
I do not blame him for taking the ton of money the Hawks paid him. But I bet if he had it to do over, he might have stayed but you never know
He seems to be doing rather nicely at OU....not sure what he's being paid...but his team is usually near the top of the their conference
Lon and Sooners have 2d top 10 win in a row... 80-79 over Tx...can make it 3 in a row against Bama on Saturday. Good guys win!

Watched Kentucky vs Alabama and I sometimes forget how spoiled we are to be watching the level of ball that is played in the Big10.
One observation is that when it comes time for the dance, the Big10 will either foul out because we are used to physical play, or the field will be steamrolled. Kofi won't know what to do without three guys hanging on him.

That game was horrific to watch. We would beat Kentucky by 30.

Saw him get stuffed at the basket and then throw up a brick 3 point shot.
KY loses love to hear it.
Kruger is a class act. He is still my favorite Illini Coach. Very smart, never wears out his welcome. He dosen't stay at one place too long.
That was a Sophie's Choice game....except you didn't want either kid
Bama is good...long athletes. KY fell back but competed.
Oates is a great coach...rags to riches from Detroit HS in 2013 to now....probably a finalist for coach of year....and maybe SEC Championship.
