In the coaches poll maybe but we’re 33rd in the AP and didn’t beat anyone with a number in front of it. Think we’re likely 24th or so in coaches and 27-28 in the APIf RU wins today I predict PU, IU, RU, and us to be ranked tomorrow
Time for my annual soapbox (nothing personal Italy):Did I just see Ped State fans wearing t-shirts saying "For the Kids" on it?!?!!!
Unless you can get Edey in foul trouble, Purdue will be difficult to beat.
Can’t stand Kansas and don’t like Kentucky. I would like to see Kansas lose and have a game losing streak. Oh well, they can start a new one.Anybody watching the uk vs ku game?the more I watch the more and more I'm rooting for self and ku I can't stand UK and there arrogance
1. I don't necessarily condemn them as monsters, but certainly would have liked the University to be held accountable beyond Sandusky. It had been reported to administration officials and swept under the rug. And after Paterno was determined to have also known and swept it under the rug, he was restored to "St. Joe" in the minds of their fans and officials. And FWIW, I think Gladwells' points try to explain the innocence of administration officials who misjudged the intents or Paterno and his staff. The key difference here being they knew.Time for my annual soapbox (nothing personal Italy):
1. If you believe Paterno and the former PSU administration are unforgivable monsters, that’s fine, but I highly recommend reading ‘Talking to Strangers’ by Gladwell. Good perspective
2. Can we as a board agree that there is a big difference between “scUM”, “Miznoz”, “Loosiers”, “Purdont”, “Idiots Out Walking Around” … which are all good natured and silly, vs. “Ped State” which is pretty clearly coming from a very different place. I’m not even trying to absolve anyone. I just don’t want to be forced to think about child rape because someone made a three pointer.
All good points. Appreciate the discourse.1. I don't necessarily condemn them as monsters, but certainly would have liked the University to be held accountable beyond Sandusky. 2. That's a completely rational thought. I, however, will forever have ingrained in my mind the connection between PSU, Paterno, Sandusky, and child rape.
On edit: you gave an excellent response, I have no issue with anything you said.
True but Duke, Kent State, MSU all who received votes ahead of us lost this weekIn the coaches poll maybe but we’re 33rd in the AP and didn’t beat anyone with a number in front of it. Think we’re likely 24th or so in coaches and 27-28 in the AP

I hope not. Hating Michigan and watching Michigan lose are two of my favorite hobbies, and Howard helps in both respects. So what does the board think? Is Howard fleeing tot he nba before his seat gets hot?
Unless you can get Edey in foul trouble, Purdue will be difficult to beat.
Well, the coaching contract is a pretty huge mistake. The issue comes down to money. If they've got the alumni with the willingness to pour dollars into the program they'll be able to recover and probably fairly quickly. Still a ton of tradition there.Guys….Louisville might never recover from this season….
Michigan could very well finish the year below .500.
They’re about to get destroyed though. So many games in a small window cause of covidAnd Northwestern is alone in 2nd in the B1G at the halfway point, just as everyone predicted.
