My grandpa was one that always said " li-bary "
That sequence with Holtmans ejection was absolutely the worst. When the defender gets rewarded for a terrible flop, the bucket gets waved off, they get two free throws plus two more with Holtman ejection, makes those free throws and then Wisc gets the ball and Chuckie hits the late to go into half…the refs fingerprints are all over that. The big ten refs need to get out of the way and stop impacting the game. Or at the very least, call it the same for both teams. No one knows what will be called a block or a charge anymore.Yeah I am not a O$U fan but one of their players got a F1 for a light push after the play on the ground. Plus coach ejected are 6 free free throws. O$U is struggling and it is affecting attitudes of players and coaches
Rutgers basketball getting raw deal against Michigan State? Big Ten responds
There are questions about the fairness and future of Super Saturday at Madison Square Garden. The Big Ten gave some answers.www.yahoo.com
Interesting
There may be other teams I would wish this on ahead of OSU...but I'm okay with that outcome.Ohio State is in serious trouble this season. They're now 3-8, and the schedule only gets tougher (not only are they done with games against the bottom 3 teams, they lost all 3 of those games!) They could feasibly finish 13th in the conference.

My grandparents house had a coal chute. They had a coal buring furnace. As a little kid I would ride with grandpap in his pickup to get a load of coal then help shovel it into the coal room in the basement. They also had septic tanks (not that unusual) and a cistern that provided the gravity pressure for the farm house running water. Everybody know what a cistern is?Ours had a basement with a coal chute opening.

My grandparents still had an outhouse for a long time , then they went the septic tank route..........I hated having to go out at night to use the bathroom........spiders and snakes , oh my...........................My grandparents house had a coal chute. Funny you mention that...my mom grew up in WI just south of the UP, and as a young boy on vacation (in the summer) I thought using my grandparents outhouse was pretty fun. My mom would say "try running out there in sub 0 weather with 30 inches of snow on the ground, you won't think it's so fun"My grandparents still had an outhouse for a long time , then they went the septic tank route..........I hated having to go out at night to use the bathroom........spiders and snakes , oh my...........................
Haha. My grandparents had an outside next to the barn and other livestock buildings/sheds. They still used that since it conserved the water in the cistern by not flushing the toilet. I would use it and my mother would get so upset. My grandparents still had an outhouse for a long time , then they went the septic tank route..........I hated having to go out at night to use the bathroom........spiders and snakes , oh my...........................
Yep, as a kid we had an outhouse until I was probably 5-6 years old....also remember our first telephone...old black thing that hung on the wall...party line, think there were 7-8 other homes on our line....still remember you had to listen for your ring....ours was 1 long ring and 3 shorts....answer the phone and you might have 3 or 4 others saying hello..hello....you were you calling?? then some would hang up....some wouldn't until you ask them to hang up....My grandparents still had an outhouse for a long time , then they went the septic tank route..........I hated having to go out at night to use the bathroom........spiders and snakes , oh my...........................

And now doubt is probably setting in.Big time yikes. That team is oozing with talent and Holtmann hasn't be able to get them to gel.
I agree mostly but I am conceding the regular season title. I would rather see IU lose so e can keep them behind us. But beating Iowa is crucial to keep a leg up in the race for the top 4Two league games tonight:
Wisconsin at Ohio State (OSU favored by 7.5)
Michigan at Northwestern (NU favored by 3.5)
We then have a great weekend slate in the Big Ten!
Saturday Games
11:30 am on FOX - Michigan State vs. Rutgers (New York, NY)
1:30 pm on FOX - Illinois at Iowa
3:00 pm on ESPN - #1 Purdue at #21 Indiana
8:00 pm on BTN - Maryland at Minnesota
Sunday Games
12:00 pm on CBS - Ohio State at Michigan
3:30 pm on BTN - Penn State at Nebraska
5:30 pm on BTN - Northwestern at Wisconsin
Assuming OSU and NU win tonight, these are the standings going into the weekend:
1. Purdue: 11-1
2. Illinois: 7-4
2. Northwestern: 7-4
2. Rutgers: 7-4
3. Indiana: 6-5
3. Maryland: 6-5
3. Iowa: 6-5
3. Michigan State: 6-5
4. Penn State: 5-6
4. Michigan: 5-6
5. Wisconsin: 4-7
5. Ohio State: 4-7
6. Nebraska: 3-9
7. Minnesota: 1-10
Needless to say, those are some insane standings, and it kind of helps us who to root for this weekend:
A) Obviously we need to beat Iowa ... getting to 8-4 would be absolutely huge, considering there is a decent chance that Northwestern and Rutgers could both lose this weekend. It'd put us a full game alone in second place.
B) As alluded to in (A), we need Wisconsin to beat Northwestern and MSU to beat Rutgers at MSG. I think it would do wonders for our seeding ceiling to really break away and establish ourselves as the clear #2 to Purdue.
C) As much as it pains me, I am going to have to root for the Loosiers ... even if we lose AND they win, we'll both still be tied. I'd rather Purdue finally get a second loss and at least make this a race again!
D) Not sure the other games matter THAT much, but I suppose ideally we'd like to see the lower teams in the standings (MINN, OSU, NEB) beat the higher teams (UMD, MICH, PSU).
Say what you want about the quality of our conference, but this has been an entertaining season! I anticipate February to both be insane and also provide a little separation into clear tiers.
Tipping over outhouses used to be a popular Halloween prank. The outhouses at my high school were painted in the school colors.
Who of the illini starters would you replace with anyone from Ohio State?Big time yikes. That team is oozing with talent and Holtmann hasn't be able to get them
And if a brown bear does meander by, an outhouse is a pretty convenient place to be.No worry about neighbors, except for the brown bears who would meander by occasionally

Man, I’d want that to be some thick plexiglass. Lol. Also, good for you…Lucky Duck…that would have pretty sweet IMO.View attachment 23331
This was the view from the outhouse at my duck shack on the Kustatan River in Alaska . . . it had a plexiglass door for a gorgeous view of the Alaska Range. No worry about neighbors, except for the brown bears who would meander by occasionally
