Tonight was first time Rutgers defeated Michigan in hoops ever. They played each other for the first time back in 1933. Closest Scarlet Knights ever came to beating Michigan in recent years was a pair of 4 point losses, both in Piscataway, in 2015 and 2017.
Final score ended up being 88-56 Marquette.
