Watched Champaign news last night. The weather guy stated there is a possibility of a winter event this Friday. Coward has already submitted this to the BIG office.
I can confirm this. The affidavit he submitted to KWarr in support noted that he and his team are completely unfamiliar with "winter events." Such as snow. And, lately, competently-played basketball.

There isn’t a team in the B10 I’m worried about at this point and I think we beat Wisconsin handily.

We MIGHT have to settle for splitting with MSU and PU

However, I do think it will be a blood bath towards the end

Illinois as a Blue Blood is a terrifying thought out there - they will do everything to squash that thought

Having defensive players like Trent and DaMonte to shut down opposing teams stars is always an advantage. It is a reason that many times it is not the stars who have most points against us. Having a star like Kofi who has no defensive matchup always gives us an advantage. I do not think it is an accident that Alph had a couple of low percentage shooting nights after shooting lights out. He made the top of the scouting report for other teams. If that leaves a lesser defensive player on Trent, Grandy, and DMW they still have a problem.
Foul problems are always a threat, however.

Last season, there was buffer built into the schedule to allow for reschedules. This year, there isn't. MSU isn't incentivized to play 3 in 5 days or three road games in a row just because Mich couldn't make the game happen when it was originally scheduled. Mich is going to advocate for doing whatever makes their schedule easiest moving forward. MSU has no reason to do Mich any favors (esp. with the crap Mich pulled canceling the game only after MSU was already there and had done a shoot-around). Mich couldn't even show MSU the bare-minimum courtesy under those circumstances. They've made their bed with the rest of the conference.

Plus, all of this is only going to intensify once Mich postpones their game against PU and ours as well. They'll be asking multiple teams for favors soon. Teams that are set up well for stretch-runs and have little to gain from contorting their schedules just to accommodate Mich.

EDIT: Just saw that the Mich-PU game has already been postponed. I'm expecting our game with them to be postponed as well.

It only matters to Michigan if there are consequences to them cancelling games, and I doubt that will be the case. There's little chance of Kevin "Big2LittleSomething" Warren either declaring the missed games a forfeit for Michigan, or determining a conference champion solution related to uneven scheduling that harms Michigan. Coward knows he's working with a stacked deck.

I think Michigan plays us if they can be at full strength. Think they use the time off to scout and scheme for us, while our staff has to be scouting and preparing for Nebraska. That gives them the advantage. I believe that the students will not yet be back, so no Krush. We embarrassed them last year at their home, and this gives them a chance to redeem themselves (but no downside as they will not be favored in an away game and after a long break from playing). This is their chance to silence all those from Illinois who have dissed them for skipping our game and getting the regular season title. Under the circumstances of a very long prep time and no students (and already having successfully avoided MSU and PU) I wouldn't be so sure that they would try to avoid our game.

We'll see. Coming out of a pause, I doubt they will want to play us on the road as their first game back. And given their current tailspin, I would guess they wouldn't want to be embarrassed again so soon.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, so apologies if that was the wrong call. Looks like mostly mid-majors/small schools playing tonight. Anyone have any reccomendations as to what games may be worth watching? Thanks in advance!
