Dartmouth defeats Georgetown. I know Georgetown isn't a world beater, but wow.

There's quite a basket of small conference teams taking out the P5 in these first few days of the season.

Cincinnati taking it to Georgia in the later part of the first half. Lots of points off turnovers in transition. Not the greatest outside shooting team so far. Most of their points in the paint, which won't happen with Kofi back.

Cincinnati has no offensive game outside the paint. They have some big bodies, but we should take care of this team as long as everyone/most everyone is back and healthy.

I assume by Cincy we’ll have everyone back, even Hutch.

Rutgers won a basketball game today, 48-35. I didn’t watch but that must’ve been a snoozer.

Ya, read some reports on it and SK fans were horrified by their offense. Flashbacks to Penn State for us during the end of Bruce's time here? Is that who we played when we had that crazy low production game?

Texas currently down 25-15 to Gonzaga in the first half. Texas is #5 in the AP poll but that’s probably a little overranked at this point in the season. They’re currently coming in at #12 in KenPom.

Was surprised by their ranking as well. They have some pieces, but top 5 seems hard to believe.

I'm still trying to figure out how Bolton averaged 15.5 points for a team that won 2 games last year and now he starts for Gonzaga. At least when JCL left Iowa St he went from starter to bench.

BTW, I'm so tired of Timme's histrionics after every time he scores..........................lame.............
Amen. So he can 💪,
demonstratively point 👉, ☝️, pump up the crowd, gesture "low" to the ground, beat his chest...... after EVERY play. But Belo blows a kiss and gets T'd up? Just Timme's 'stach deserves a T. Sheesh.

Texas down 20 at the half. If they lose big, we might have the chance to leap frog them in the polls next week.

Illinois plays Gonzaga do you put kofi on timme or holmgren? Who guards the other? Would almost think kofi on timme and roll the dice with CoHawk on holmgren. Because timme showing he can wreck a game

I think we match up pretty well with them. Kofi should be familiar with Timme's game since they trained together over the summer. Hawk is athletic and long enough to handle Holmgren. And then we have Payne and BBV to body and foul them, too. Gonzaga's guys are crafty, but our guys are athletic freaks. It'll be fun.
