Underwood said that right now our best post defense is our perimeter defense so hopefully that holds true when we play UNLV!

Good. We need this unlv game to give us some trouble. Don’t have a whole lot of opportunities to get punched in the mouth and react in our non con schedule.
I think the Maryland and Northwestern games will be good tests as well leading into the UNLV game. That weird conference scheduling may be of some help.
That UNLV coach has done an excellent job resurrecting the Rebels in short order. He did great at NMSU too - just couldn’t get over the hump of winning an NCAA game.

That I would presume is exactly one of the reasons he chose to play at SLU...chuck as many as possible, without worry about PT or shooting %.
