Even taking the Illini exhibition win out of the equation, the Panthers have looked impressive against the two Power 5 teams they've played. They had a 6 point lead late against Nebraska before letting it slip away. They had a lead for most of the game against Marquette before losing in OT. If nothing else, it does at least give this EIU alum some hope for the rest of this season.
The Panthers travel to Peoria to play Bradley on Friday night. Game begins at 7:00 PM and will air on NBC Sports Chicago Plus (Formerly CSN Chicago Plus).
Nunn didn't play in last night's win over Oral Roberts. I haven't seen why.
