Random question: did the announcers even mention one time that there was an intentional foul by the Michigan player near the end? I saw the ref call it (giving up 2 free throws & possession), but never heard a word of it from the broadcasting crew

I liked the ACC/Big Ten challenge but people try to over sell it as one conference is better than the other when in reality it is about who the individual teams play

I like to play an ACC team every non conference either in a tournament or home and away series but make it a good match up that the teams learn about themselves

The matchmaking this year has been subpar. Usually they try to pair teams with similar expectations and yet you have a lot of lopsided pairings.
Yep, but that stopped a few years back it seems. We should have never drawn Syracuse. Should have been us vs Duke or North Carolina.

Yes. This is another reason pre season rankings matter. We were severely under rated and the Syracuse win will do little to help our strength of schedule, likely, come March.

Always enjoy seeing Michigan lose, but I got an extra bit of satisfaction last night because their chants and songs didn't even apply in this game. The fans chant "Go Blue" (while playing against a team wearing blue uniforms), and then the band plays "Hail to the Victors" immediately after a loss. Gotta love it.
