B1G favored in 4 of the 6 games. They need a lead after tonight to have a chance.

I hate saying this but I really love watching Wisconsin play. They actually move the ball and cut against a zone.

I have a love hate with watching these guys. They play sooooooo slow and boring usually.

With that said, I respect a coach who has a successful system in place and his team plays within the system. They play basketball by the book in a league where athleticism is becoming the future.

If there's a more athletic player in the B1G than Khalil Iverson I'm unaware. Maybe Bridges.

+1 Bridges is for sure. But you're overall point is a valid one. Too often people confuse playing to a system equals not having athletic ability. I'd personally rather watch a well-run system like Wisconsin, than watch teams play AAU style ball (like we do unfortunately.)

Maryland trying to get back in this thing after trailing by 25 in the second half.
2:24 to go, so it's still uphill

Spot on. They're just carving up the vaunted Syracuse matchup zone. Really beautiful basketball. Makes me sentimental for the 2005 Illini.

Rutgers one of the last 2 unbeaten teams in the Big Ten this season. Who woulda thunk it? While I don't expect them to be good they may not be a sure win for a lot of teams like they were last year.

For anyone interested in watching good teams with competent coaching MSU/Duke is really a good game so far.

I'm fine watching a team pass it until they find a decent shot. They are averaging 77 points a game, so I don't know how slow they play in actuality.

2016 has not been kind to Michigan State sports.

All their losses have been to good competition. I'm expecting them to be a tourney team still.

Also, did anyone see that Texas lost to Texas Arlington? Shaka Smart is cooking down there. They are on a 3 game skid losing to NW, Colorado, then Arlington. Yikes. Now that is an athletic department where 2016 hasn't been kind (so far).

I think their AD must have a pretty hot seat after the Strong and Smart hirings (ironic combination when neither sport has done well). talk about a powerhouse crumbling... Maybe not in basketball alone but it looks like a rough time to be a longhorns fan

Can you fault either hire? He must have had pretty strong backing from boosters on both those.

They just hired the best available coach on the market for the only sport that matters there. They'll be fine.
