I know it's early, but it would make me so happy to see Eastern Kentucky knock out Louisville. They've had the lead the first 8 minutes.

Me thinks Oklahoma and Syracuse are going to have trouble making it to the dance. Each with 4 losses in non-con, each going to be playing some tough conference slates.

For Oklahoma: bummer. I like Lon Kruger.
For Syracuse: Boehiem can eat it.

tOSU hung with UCLA pretty well in first half, but having real trouble in the second. Think we're going to have to come at them in waves and wear them out. Starters are very good, but no depth.

The American is the toughest Mid-Major conference in the country followed closely by the MVC, A-10, Mountain West, and the West Coast conference.

Iowa up 34-16 at half against UNI. Both teams look bad but UNI looked like they were trying to shoot a full sized basketball into a nerf hoop. That was one of the worst first half performances I have ever seen on any level of basketball, girls or boys. Wow.

Final score in Columbia: EIU 67 Mizzou 64

EIU finally got some threes to fall in the 2nd half. What hurt Mizzou the most in this game was free throw shooting. Tigers were 15-24 from the free throw line. EIU was 15-17 from the free throw line.

Can I hope that U.K. And North Carolina play 10 overtimes whereby the games is called a draw? I HATE both these programs . . . .

I turned on the NC KY game in my hotel room w/o knowing who was playing. When I saw the uniforms, I thought it might be the Globetrotters. After watching a little of the game, I was just about sure of it.
