The Zags last game was 12/2 against W Virginia. They were supposed to play Baylor on 12/5, but the game was cancelled due to a couple Covid cases in the Gonzaga group. They then decided to not play anyone for 2 weeks, and cancelled the 4 games they had scheduled in that stretch. Hopefully they are healthy for tomorrow's game.
Tonight’s Mizzou game showing as cancelled. Anyone know if it’s Mizzou COVID issue related that could have impacted the Illini?

I really don't want to see Iowa move up in the rankings, though it'd be fun to beat them if they were #1 or #2.
I've not been a fan of Gonzaga for a while now, but their shenanigans with the Auburn game sealed the deal for me.

Gonzaga had a player and staffer test positive for COVID-19, but that didn't stop team from putting Auburn and Kansas at risk by continuing to play.

By shenanigans, I assume they mean that Gonzaga had 2 players not at the game, one due to testing positive for Covid, and the other for contact tracing.
Gonzaga has taken some heat for going ahead and playing, but Auburn and the Florida Department of Health also agreed to it, so I don't see how that's only on the Zags.

Sorry if I implied it was all on the Zags. Clearly that wasn't the case. Everyone's favorite coach was involved as well. I was just pissed at the time because I thought it might derail our dream season.
I'm pulling for Gonzaga. I just can't bring myself to root for this Iowa team...against anyone.
I'm pre-disposed to root against teams with social justice messaging on their game jerseys.
But I do tend to want to see the Big Ten teams win their games. I guess I'll just hope for an interesting game.

I’m pulling for both to lose.
My prediction - Gonzaga wins 96-84...Garza will get 20-10 but Timme will get his as well. Suggs is a beast, and I think Mark Few is light years better than McCaffrey. If they can avoid foul trouble for Timme, their backcourt will give Iowa's spot-up shooters fits.
I do not believe I could ever root for Iowa except against Pearl.
There is a special joy in watching Fran pout during games....I hope to see that alot today.
I’m rooting for Zags. Just can’t root for Fran and his gang of pouting men. Plus I really like Suggs and his game.
