It was terrible and very poor judgement by the North Dakota player. Fran was right to be upset, but his reaction was inexcusable. Two wrongs don't make a right.
I agree it was a poor choice by the kid but Fran acted like a baby. You wouldn't have expected North Dakota to be winning at that point for him to react that way.

I just saw the video. Dumb play by the North Dakota player but an even more childish response from Fran. Of course Fran does have a history of overreacting. He has a right to be upset but leading your team off the court isn't very classy. Bad look.
Did not see the game, but read where there was also a hard foul on Jok and another play in the last 2 minutes. So it was a combination of plays that upset Fran.
I just watched that play. McCaffery is an idiot. That was one kid on an entire team, that traveled to your place, whom you just beat. You shake the hands, and tell the kid you think it was bush league as you are shaking his. All the Iowa players hanging out wondering if they should get in the handshake line says it all. What a maroon.
Anyone know what the line on the game was? perhaps the kid was trying to cover it.
