San Francisco thumping #25 Arizona St. at halftime 50-23. They started the game on a 26-3 run.
Being at the game where that sign made its debut is one of the highlights of this decade.
Granted, there was a global pandemic and Elon Musk is a dumber version of Lex Luthor now, so the bar is getting lower and lower... But still.

Biggest upset by point spread in the modern era. Previous largest was when Stephen F. Austin won at Duke in November 2019 as a 27.5 point underdog. EIU's odds were so long that most sportsbooks didn't offer odds on them to win the game straight up. Fourth Power 5 win for the Panthers and the first since 2016 (many of the AP reports are reporting 2019 but I looked back through their schedule for that season and can't find a Power 5 win in there) against Mizzou. It's their first win over a B1G school since December 3, 1987 when they won in Charleston against Wisconsin.
What helped EIU win was their 2nd half shooting. They shot 71% overall and were 4-8 from 3 in the 2nd half. Iowa was 31% overall in the 2nd half and 2-17 from 3. That's what turned it from a 45-37 halftime deficit into a 92-83 victory.
Between this win and the Ayo putback to win the Bulls game tonight, this has been a pretty good day for my alma mater and for the NBA team that I follow.

I wonder what Tommy Michael's record against Iowa was in his days here. Regardless, I'm sure this huge win is even a bit sweeter as a former Illini.
