Trae Young with 20 points and 10 assists before halftime, blowing out Northwestern.

Akron ahead of Southern Cal 40 sec to go to halftime and SC's big just got a flagrant 2. Groce is wearing glasses now.

Trae young has to be a 1 and done after putting up these absurd numbers.

Akron up 33-29 over UCLA at the half. Lost 84-53. Wasn't it Izzo that said something like "the most meaningless statistic is the score at halftime"

How in the hell is Lon Kruger getting guys like Trae Young and Buddy Hield to put up these video game numbers?

Granted, Young was a 5* kid last year, ranked comparably to Ayo this year. But these are numbers you don't expect from any freshman -- even the #1 recruit in the nation. And Hield was a 3* kid out of HS.

Must be nice to have absolutely dominant players like this.

Yea, makes me wish Lon had never bolted for NBA....was really sorry to see him leave Illinois
