Michigan's Starting Point Guard, Jaelin Llewellyn, whom they added from the transfer portal from Princeton, has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is out for the season. You feel for the young man. He will be below the 30 % threshold so he can apply for a medical redshirt (this was originally going to be his last year of eligibility).

You may recall that the backup (and heir apparent) Point Guard on last year's Michigan squad, Frankie Collins, was a surprising entry into the transfer portal and starts for Arizona State now.

Freshman Point Guard Dug McDaniel will likely enter the starting lineup. He was the number 90 ranked overall player and number 19 ranked point guard in the 247 composite.

Penn St, in a 68-57 home loss to MSU, looking like fodder to the loaded cannon that is Illini MBB…

Nebraska not primed for a second straight upset, down 39-26 at Indiana...

Purdue playing in what is essentially a practice game…

Not sure where to put this but Hawkeye nation reporting that Kris Murray in a walking boot after the Duke game.

That’s definitely not good for them.

Also did Kris and Keegan just rock-paper-scissors for who got to be the All-American POTY candidate last year and who got it this year?

I figured Kris would be good since they are twins…but rinse and repeat good? Are we sure it’s Kris and not Keegan coming back to punk us all?

Physical attributes would be similar but drive, work ethic, reaction speed, understanding the game, shot form…these are all variables that don’t necessarily carry over just because they are twins.

Maybe he’ll come back down to earth but I’m not so sure. Is it too much to ask that Fran McCafferey not luck into 3 straight AA level players??

If Murray is out for an extended period of time, it's going to be bad times for Iowa. Yikes.

I didn’t think the other murray looked all that good against Duke.

Like his brother last year, Murray is my favorite non-Illini player in the B1G.

And I hate that he plays for friggin Iowa.

If Rutgers wins and goes 2-0 in conference play....are they the heavy favorites to win the B10?? Asking for a friend.

I watched part of OSU's last game against an inferior opponent. OSU looks so so to me. Can hit some 3 pointer shots but not overly athletic.
