Not a lot on the docket other than Illinois/Iowa, but Florida is getting their buns handed to them by winless Texas Southern. 63-45 at the 5 minute mark. That's a game that will follow Florida around for the rest of the year.

Well it happened. This is the biggest upset of the college basketball season so far.

Here's a pretty active Florida forum if you're into that type of thing.

Someone posted this before the game started:

"Last April the Gators played FAMU in baseball and the coaches agreed ahead of time that they would end the game early if it was a blowout. Maybe they should do the same with this game."

Pure schadenfreude. Thank you for sharing.

Holy cow.

That's why they play the games, right?

TX Southern has a habit of rising up to play the big boys and even upsetting them.

Won @Oregon, @Texas A&M and @Baylor in 2018

Won @Mich St and @Kansas St in 2014.

Won @Oregon St in 2010.

You know, maybe this isn't really all that surprising after all.
It's true, those HBCU's are forced to play an endless procession of pay road games in the non-conference for financial reasons so they are very battle tested come this part of the season.

Looks like Coach White is a Weber clone. Castleton has not been pushed to get better, BU would not put up with his constant barrage of missed 3’s. We may have dodged a bullet with not getting him.
