Just in case anyone else was baffled: Wisconsin was set to play Louisville for B1G/ACC challenge but game was postponed or canceled. Rhode Island is in fact still in the Atlantic 10 and not ACC...still a pretty good substitute on short notice

Michigan - NC State also postponed, Michigan picked up a game against Toledo.

#5
All 3 of the cancellations were for COVID outbreaks on the ACC team. Backs up BU's point about the BigTen protocols...at least for basketball. Doesn't seem to translate to football, although football teams are obviously much bigger.

Maryland stinking it up vs. Clemson. 40-15 early second half.

#8
Wow Maryland... Don't see them competing for the B10 title if this is how they play Clemson.

Liberty may win this game. Mizzou looks bad in the opening 10 minutes --- down 16-8. Announcers are discussing how Tilmon hasn't improved in 3 years. I don't think Mark Smith, Pickett or Tilmon has yet scored a point.

Tilmon doesn't appear to have any offensive moves to the basket when he catches the ball in the paint, with his back to the hoop.

Liberty has two small Curbelo-like guards who dribble, dribble, dribble and penetrate. They also bomb from 3 pt land. Very effective so far.

#11
Indiana hanging tough with (20) Florida St and forcing overtime. B10 is unreal this year.

I just saw that Tevian Jones is playing for Southern Utah. There's a name I totally forgot about.

He dropped 33 pts on Utah Valley State. Averaging 15 ppg on the young season (before tonight).

I would take Pickett, just sour about Tilmon and Smith.

With the first 3 he made tonight vs. Evansville, EIU's Mack Smith has now made a 3 pointer in 87 consecutive games. He can tie Corey Bradford's record streak on Saturday afternoon at home vs. Western Illinois.

Northwestern totally choked away their game - complete meltdown the last minute
seinfeld shame GIF

If that record gets broken, it would be nice for it to be broken by someone from EIU

Agreed. Unfortunately, the next two games after Saturday are on the road as the Panthers begin OVC play. Next home game at First Mid Court (new naming rights deal) at Lantz Arena after Saturday won't be til January 2nd.
