My wife is a Duke fan, me not so much but they did get screwed on that last call. I don't know how they can blow that especially when it can be reviewed.

The foul clearly happened at .2 but the ruling was that because the referee raised his arm AFTER time expired, the foul also happened after time expired.

That’s the exact opposite of what we saw against Michigan State at home last year.

If that is the rule it is ridiculous. How many times do we watch a play that the ref waits to see whether the ball goes in or not to call a foul. If the same principle was applied to those situations technically you shouldn't be able to call the foul because to much time has elapsed.

That’s how the announcers explained it and how Scheyer said it was explained to him in the postgame.

"[The officials] told me after the fact that the call was made after the buzzer," Duke coach Jon Scheyer said of Filipowski's play attacking the rim. "You can see the ball left his hands before 0.00. I don't exactly know what the rule was. The call was made so I don't know how the call can get taken away. But again, I just would like clarity. Hate it for our guys."

Tennessee had a three point lead and fouled Missouri (on purpose) with 4.2 seconds left. That ultimately lead to the exchange of free throws that ended with Mizzou winning. Fouling with a three point lead should only be done with three seconds or less.
