We need to respect our D a LOT more than we do right now
Do you know that DJ Carstensen is a lifelong WI badgers super fan - not joking. He talks about it often. Reffing in Madison is like going to church for him.How does Wisconsin get every call on the road - at IU? They treat Davis like he is MJ or Kobe.
Yeah, I'm not sure what the review and reversal rules are. They got it right, so ... IN didn't deserve to win.B1G refs doing B1G ref things again.
Called out of bounds on Wisconsin. Went to monitor to make sure it was out on Wisconsin. Instead the gave the ball to Wisconsin because the ball never went out of bounds!
I agree that the ball never went out, but how do you completely change the call? The review is only to allow you to change possession if there is evidence it was off the other team!?!
I agree they got the call right which is a good thing.Yeah, I'm not sure what the review and reversal rules are. They got it right, so ... IN didn't deserve to win.
Well, he did have a pretty impressive stat line tonight…Looks like Trace Jackson Davis will not be 1st team All Big Ten. Cockburn, Murray, Liddell, Davis, Ivey.
Our record is amazing considering that we play the bottom four teams in the conference only one game each. Same for Purdue, so no advantage there. Wisconsin plays three of them twice, and Ohio State all four twice - so Purdue and Illinois are at a distinct disadvantage to those two schools from a schedule standpoint.Updated B1G EM standings after today's games:

- Illinois with a slim lead on Ohio State, who pulled into 2nd with a blitzing of Minnesota in the 2nd half.
- Some interesting separation among the top 9, all potential tourney teams, each separated by somewhat similar margins from one to the next, with a gap after Indiana.
- Northwestern is no slouch, but is also no tourney team. PSU starting to make things look respectable also.
- Maryland is in a class of their own in terms of "not good, but not awful", worse than NW/PSU, nowhere near as bad as MN/NEB
- Nebraska did win a game! Home vs. Minnesota, who is also very bad now.
- Rutgers 5 conference losses: Northwestern, Penn State, Maryland, Minnesota...and Illinois. Just a weird set of results for them so far.
That is better than I thought. Individually, he's still a stud down low. But he has no other shot, which would open things up for his teammates. He's a tall 3 playing as a 5.Well, he did have a pretty impressive stat line tonight…
30 pts on just 13 fga, 8 rb, 6 ast, 3 blks, 1 stl
He’s at the very least making a case…
Loosiers’ general suckiness will work against him, though.
Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Cuonzo again after this year.Nice article on our friends in miseryland........lol...........

Arkansas extends Mizzou misery in rivalry games
Razorbacks scorch the Tigers from 3-point range in 76-57 victory at Mizzou Arena.www.stltoday.com

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Here’s the good news for Missouri’s sinking basketball season: The Tigers are done with rivalry games.
It’s just one of several troubling trends for Cuonzo Martin’s program, but another rivalry game turned into another decisive loss on Tuesday. This one wasn’t the 44-point bloodletting that Arkansas inflicted on the Tigers last month, but the latest edition of the Battle Line Rivalry was never much of a battle at Mizzou Arena. With another prolific start, the Razorbacks blitzed the Tigers from the opening tip. The rest was just details in the carnage of a 76-57 Arkansas victory.
In four games this season against rivals Kansas, Illinois and Arkansas, the Tigers have lost by a combined margin of 125 points.
“From start to finish I thought they obviously played better,” Martin said after his team’s sixth loss in its last eight games. “They played physical. They got what they wanted offensively. We weren't as aggressive I thought we would be or should be. We allowed the ball to flow through the air and they made plays, made shots.”

Ahhh , NO it doesn't ...........it really really doesn't...................................
after a history of leaving programs after 3 years (Missouri St, tennessee, CAL), C.Martin coaching and program development on full display in Columbia.Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Cuonzo again after this year.
