Things you hate to see: Mizzou coughing up a 13 point lead to go down 6 with 4 min remaining. Shame. Looks like Cuonzo having his normal new year's peak followed by a 2 month freefall.

I just can't fathom why we can't beat them...
Living in a St Louis suburb, I have a lot of Mizzou grad as friends. They say it is very simple.

We know the Mark Smith story
We know the Jeremiah Tilmon story.
We know the Javon Pinkett story. BU pulled the offer.
We know the Xavier Pinson. We never really looked at him in Chicago.

This has become PERSONAL for them and it rubs off on the whole team

What is Tilmon’s grudge?

I'm going to go ahead and assume our fanbase was ever so polite when he spurned us for Mizzou.

Nothing like a few people acting like jack***es to convince someone in the wrong that they're in the right.

I'd also be willing to venture a guess that Mark Smith was happy to feed into that with stories about how powerful and scary our treadmills are.

IIRC, Pickett decommitted and then wanted his offer back when he found he didn’t have any better options. BU declined to re-offer.

If true, then my respect for BU goes up a tick. Tough lesson for the young man, but what I have seen from Mizzou is that with the exception of their games against us he does not significantly impact the game.

I've given up trying to win that Mizzou game while those players are still there. They simply want it more than us.

And who cares, look where we are and look how they are collapsing.
