2/18 Games

Michigan is good. Making Rutgers look pedestrian. I was hoping for a better game but Rutgers partly shooting themselves in the foot with mistakes. But doesn't take anything away from Michigan. They look tough, esp livers and wagner. I think we can match up: Trent on Smith, Ace on Brooks, Ayo on Wagner (that will be an awesome matchup), and Kofi on dickenson. Problem is the 4. Livers is too big for Monte and too strong for grandson. You're not going to have Giorgi play the 4, but I think it's a matchup nightmare for us at the 4. One of the two or some lineup with Giorgi and Kofi together will need to happen if we do play them..

I feel like we would beat down michigan
Not sure if we beat them down. Beat them? Sure. They definitely win with defense. I'm not sure how that translate in the tournament but they don't have THAT guy on offense yet from what I've seen this year.

And that will be their downfall.

Livers is a bucket getter.

EIU defeated Murray State tonight 68-59.

The significance of the victory is that tonight was the first time EIU had won at the CFSB Center since four years ago tonight, February 18, 2017. The Panthers other wins at Murray came in 2002 and 2011. This is also the first time EIU has defeated Murray State in 3 straight games (at least as far back as records I can find on Murray State's site that goes back to the year 2000) and the first season sweep of Murray State in school history.

Game was huge for the Panthers' OVC tournament chances as they are currently 5-12 overall, tied with UT Martin for 9th in the conference, a game and 1/2 behind SEMO for the 8 seed and 2 games behind SIUE for the 7 seed in the OVC tournament. The Panthers split the season series with SIUE and lost at SEMO earlier this season with their 2nd game of the season coming in the penultimate game of the season next Thursday at Lantz Arena.

I would put Adam on Wagner and Ayo on livers. Monte can handle brooks
