Big for us. Villanova should be firmly off the two line if they lose

Butler up 15 quickly after Nova went on a mini run to get it to a two score game. I'm liking where this is headed so far

#6
Butler up 10 with 4 minutes to go. Butler is 4-11 at the free throw line with three straight missed front ends of 1&1s.

Worst case for Monday is that we're still at #5. If the Buckeyes lose today, we are #4 and the incumbent final #1 seed.
Can't wait for 3pm, as much as it pains me to root for the Mccaffreys.

With all the pretenders (those teams ranked 8-20 in the AP poll) starting to fall back, it's really looking like just 6-7 teams that can win it all this year.

Win or lose, I hope MSU leaves Maryland sore.
Rooting for Maryland to win AND leave MSU licking some serious wounds. MSU is my new Iowa. But just today. MSU can recover against UM.

Saw on the scroller during our game that Garza's backup (Nunge) is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Hawks frontcourt is going to be a little thin the rest of the season.

And that’s putting it nicely. They have zero viable backups over 6’8”. And even those guys (Keegan Murray, Pat McCaffery) are sticks.

Iowa will be a popular pick to get upset in round one of the tourney.

It’s no wonder Maryland’s coach is so successful. Super involved in the game the entire time. Hell I can hear him from home

Haven’t watched any of MSU game, but from box score it doesn’t look like Sissoko has played. I know he only averages about 8 mpg, but seem strange.

My brain is a bit fried from studying and job hunting, but ... are there obvious teams we should be rooting for or against today?

Michigan State at Maryland - This one doesn't really matter, right? Both beat us. Maybe cheer for MSU to get their NET up?

#9 Iowa at #4 Ohio State - I would assume we'd root for Iowa, as we have not beaten OSU (yet), and we want that Iowa win to remain as shiny as possible? Wouldn't it also make it A LOT easier to get the 2-seed in the BTT?

Beyond that, I would assume we would just want any team ranked between 6-10 to lose so that we don't fall in the rankings! Nice start with Butler taking down #8 Villanova! I would think we would remain above #9 Iowa, given Michigan destroyed them, but #9 winning at #4 could possibly jump #5 if people were impressed enough with the win.
