Did I see Bruce Weber's team win against the No. 2 team in the country and we can't beat a reeling Minnesota team on our own home court in front of a sellout crowd? Am I in a bizzaro world? What is happening here??
Weber is a very good coach with a good scheme on offense and defense. Whenever he happens to have solid talent mixed with some vets in his system, he's dangerous.Did I see Bruce Weber's team win against the No. 2 team in the country and we can't beat a reeling Minnesota team on our own home court in front of a sellout crowd? No reason to be surprised by that, right? We don't want him back, but I'll always respect his ability to coach.

Always knew when Illinois fired Weber (and yes, it needed to happen) that he would have more success wherever he went than the Illini would with their new coach. Weber has always been a great X and O guy. Just never thought the gap would be this cavernous.
