Kansas State might be the worst power conference program this year (and they're not even last place in their conference!) Their 206 KenPom ranking is the lowest of any power conference team by 41 spots (Washington is 165).
9th?? With our two wins and all the losses ahead of us, we should easily move to at least 8th, probably 6th or 7th.

Sorry but scUM doesn't deserve to stay in the Top 5 when they haven't even played a game in like 2 weeks.
Sports media voters aren't typically the most sophisticated, and will see just a "2" in the loss column behind Houston and not be able to drop them below any 5 loss teams. I could see Houston-Illinois-Texas Tech-Virginia pretty close overall, maybe Illinois sneaks into 6th by a hair. But those should probably be the top 10.
But they will, based on similar precedent with Villanova.
Yeah but they really bounced back with the convincing victory today over Sister Mary Margaret's School of the Blessedly Tumescent.
Houston lost to East Carolina (133 Kenpom). Villanova lost to St. Johns (67 Kenpom) which is worse than any of our losses. Seems they both should drop further. We are ahead of all of but the top 3 in most computer ratings. We should be #4 but the pollsters I think still see our 5 losses. So i would swap us and Houston.
