osu has a lot of skilled players but , to me , it's seems they lack something to make them a top contender in the B1G.....problem is I can't put my finger on what they lack ....Liddell is very good and key is underrated , but I haven't watched a lot of their games ....maybe it's just me ....usually is .......
I would say they don't have strong point gaurd play. I said the same about Purdue but of course theirs had his best game of the year last night. Curbelo is the best point gaurd in the big and Trent in his absence is probably the next best. Once Curbelo is 100% we we will be able to take full advantage of it.
My son goes to OSU currently. I have a deal with him that I root for them in all games except IL - since he's my son, that's not difficult. OSU lacks that big offensive #5. However, Liddell can hit from anywhere and bring the big defenders out to him.

Agreed. OSU is tied with us in the loss column. So if they lose this it hurts their chances.

Agree. Better not overlook them at all. They are a different team when playing at home.
Our game at Rutgers will be tough. They have beaten O$U and MSU. They are a dangerous bubble team

I've watched Rutgers several times recently and they're a solid squad. Really not looking forward to playing them in Piscataway. Geo Baker was obviously missed in their game against us at SFC, but even without him, I still don't know how we beat them so badly. They're a much different team now.
It's probably better for us that tOSU lost, but the Illini better be ready for a real battle when they play Rutgers.
