"No big deal...it was just a DWI! He didn't harm anyone. We need to be more worried about kids selling gear and making money!" said a spokesperson for the NCAA.Well, gonna be interested to see how this is handled:
That would be my guess.Aiding and abetting DWI? What the heck is that? I handled a lot of DWI cases in a prior millennium, but I've never heard of aiding and abetting DWI. Might he have swapped seats with the driver after the stop?
wonder if coach K's back is starting to act up again ???That would be my guess.
And coach's grandson. Not a good looke for the Dooks.
As has been posted by many on here when Few case was compared to Kofi situation, the NCAA historically does not weigh in on legal cases such as these. Nor do I want the NCAA mixed up in these kind of cases. The school should and typically handles any kind of suspensions/dismissals due to crimes/legal issues. Kofi’s situation had to do with eligibility and fell directly within the purview of the NCAA. Whether the penalty was warranted is another thing."No big deal...it was just a DWI! It was a joke.As has been posted by many on here when Few case was compared to Kofi situation, the NCAA historically does not weigh in on legal cases such as these. Ding Dong the witch is dead...100% correct. Then you will have the Dukies retelling the story of their no non-sense West Point grad who upheld the rules to his detriment.Easy prediction: Savarino, who's played all of 6 minutes in his career at Duke (he's a Jr. btw) will be suspended. Banchero, the potential 1st round pick in the next NBA draft, won't be punished (and honestly, maybe he shouldn't be). Coach K will be hailed by the media for suspending his own grandson, who wasn't going to see the floor anyway.
As someone with a bad back, you wouldn't believe what unexpected bad news can do it!wonder if coach K's back is starting to act up again ???
I bet if this had happened in Durham it would have been swept under the rug. As it is, odd place to have been pulled over after drinking for two college students -- they were pretty far out in the boonies.Well, gonna be interested to see how this is handled:
Duke Gonna Duke.Banchero starting tonight
wt acutal f?...they played Garner-Webb. not that that should matter.Banchero starting tonight
Coach K said the headlines make it look li"ke they are both the same, but its not."Banchero starting tonight

Apparently aiding and abetting was that he didn't prevent him from driving. If that's all it is, then I have no problem with no suspension, because that's kind of a ridiculous charge.Coach K said the headlines make it look li"ke they are both the same, but its not."
Obviously, not.
1. Is your top 10 NBA draft pick
2. Is your blood
Throw your blood to the wolves, your daughter has a coosh job, eventually he will too. Time will pass on this DWI and nobody will talk about it except at the frat house reunions 20 years later.
What would Underwood do if Tyler was driving intoxicated and had a 19 year old Kofi riding along?
What was the aiding and abetting? Was he trying to cover up by throwing stuff out the window, or how can you A&A?
I've never trusted K, just always seems like backdoor deals were getting done and he got away with it. Kinda like his daughter's coosh job and his grandson will now.
It certainly is! Wow, if that's the case, I have aided and abetted too many times to countApparently aiding and abetting was that he didn't prevent him from driving. If that's all it is, then I have no problem with no suspension, because that's kind of a ridiculous charge.
I’ve cleared you to start tonightIt certainly is! Wow, if that's the case, I have aided and abetted too many times to count
And Kansas has yet to be punished........As has been posted by many on here when Few case was compared to Kofi situation, the NCAA historically does not weigh in on legal cases such as these.
