I just took a look at the radar and there is a line of Thunderstorms just past the Quad Cities heading toward Sugar Grove. Unless they break-up there is probably going to be a weather delay.

Anyway, he laid up, then hit his approach short and it rolled back into the water. Took a drop and hit it long. Chipped down below the hole and 2 putts later . . . that's an 8, folks. So, he started +6 in two holes after the weather delay and he is +4 for the tournament. I know that's golf, but it was unfortunate. Mike Small was with him and he was not happy about the return to the course.

I have been a walking scorer a couple of days and 17 is the toughest hole on the course. My two groups had at least one player put the ball in the water and that was in good conditions.

Hardy taking an 8 on the 18th was brutal, especially since many guys were making birdy and even eagle on that hole.

After reaching -20, they were +6 for the last five holes.

Good thing Meyer and Liparelli were able to birdy 18 and get some of it back.

I should remember from previous years, but are the match play rounds part of the team championships, or the individual?

Trying to follow on line, when this round is done, match play starts TODAY???

Team champion is determined by match play, but the team must finish top 8 in stroke play to get to match play. Individual champion determined today from the four rounds of stroke play.

Match play starts tomorrow. Two sets of matches, morning to get to four and then afternoon to get to two teams. Match play finals on Wednesday afternoon

Whoa, a quick slip by the Illini just before 4:00. Went from -13 to -8 in a heartbeat. Still solidly in, but the higher the better for choice of opponent and my comfort

Hopefully Tadiotto's score doesn't end up counting, because he is getting a stroke penalty at the end of his round for delay.
