How come I can't find anything online that mentions this guy from Northern is transferring? The NIU website lists him as a Senior though it looks like he would definitely be eligible to have a medical RS retroactively applied for his Freshman season.

He is a candidate for a grad transfer. I'm sure IL might be appealing to him and might be able to convince him.

This is a good resource from a Georgia basketball blog on possible grad transfers...

Marin looks good and really runs the floor well, a BU prerequisite.

Can shoot the three, post-up and bang and rebound. Very strong Big Ten body. Looks like he could have NBA potential given his size and skills. Perhaps Orlando could sell him on getting him to the next level.

My worry is if the reason for CJ to leave pitt is to play NCAA or even challenge national championship (like Barry to Florida), why he'd choose us?

He left more due to his role and Stalling's system. If we can sell the system and how he's a fit for it, I think we have a real good chance.

From this article, it sounds like he left because he was going to be the Lone Ranger next year. 4 seniors graduating, 3 transfers and 1 kid dismissed from the team. Doesn't say anything about necessarily wanting Final Four chances or anything so maybe we do have a chance --although this tweet makes me think maybe they should just start listing the teams that aren't interested. It might be shorter.

Oregon & UCLA are the latest to get involved with Pitt transfer wing Cam Johnson, per source; immediately eligible with two years to play

A message to all the kids that want to play for big time schools but don't have the offers: redshirt as a freshman then graduate in three years.

Schools are acting like a supermodel just walked into the bar when a quality but not star player is immediately eligible with two years to play.
