Good luck to him. Would have loved to have him, but will take having his really good coach.

If you sign with an agent, you can't return to college ball, right? And if you don't sign, then you can just test the water?

Do I have any of this right?

Yea pretty spot on there. Its actually a pretty good decision by a player to declare without signing an agent because then they can get feedback from NBA level scouts about their game and what they need to work on.

Isn't there a limit on how many times you can "test the water"? Or did they change that too.

Interesting that in his tweet, Jawun thanked the fans of OSU. Makes it seem like he's gone for certain and signing with an agent. Most of the time when just "testing the water", players won't really publicize.

Bit of a strange decision with his late first/early second projection. Guess there was too much volatility for him in the coaching decision

Xavier Rathan-Mayes has declared for the NBA draft as well. Kid turned in to a really solid player for FSU. Hope he succeeds in the NBA.

There are a handful of players in the BIG I think will test the waters. He is not one of those.
Maybe not this year. He has NBA level athleticism/ability. Might need a little more work but its hard to say just how good he is because hes on such a bad team.
