Has anyone looked into packages to go to the Tournament in Maui? I think but just started looking into it.

I saw like 1175 for tickets and hotel for 3 days through the official site.

I’m totally trying to go.

I highly recommend this tournament and staying at the team's hotel, etc. I've gone twice and last time we won the tourney, Brandon Paul was MVP and lots of fun for Illini fans attending it. Such a small venue, hard to beat it, and mostly top programs invited each year.

Wife and I booked our tix a couple months ago! Can’t wait to see the 2018 team in Maui!

Wish I could go-it was the trip of a lifetime in 2000. It was Bill Self’s first coached game. Beat Ball State? And Maryland, and almost beat Arizona in the finals. Went to the dinner/coaches roast on Sun. Night. Stayed in the team hotel, saw the players everywhere! Self met the fan busses (3) after every game to thank us (about 135? Fans) for being there. Drank in the bar with coaches after the games. Never forget stopping at a corner and stop sign in downtown Lahaina in our rental car with Illini car flags on and talking to Sergio & Jerrance after the Championship game. They always rembered that moment every time we saw them since then. Fantastic memories!

I've been looking forward to going for years and coordinating with friends across the globe including other alum and some Puke fans. Staying down in Wailea for the week but looking forward to being part of the action so please keep posting about ticket access. Plane tix were a little brutal but I'm pumped. This team was fun to watch last year and itll be cool to see them in action again!

Been to Maui a few times but first time for Invite. Staying in condo for a week. Much cheaper than cost of team hotel. Can’t wait.

I have been the last two times the Illini have played in the tourney and have had a great vacation both times. Watching high level basketball in such a small venue is a lot of fun. Everybody seems to enjoy the experience.

Unfortunately, we have decided not to go this year since this young Illini squad are going to be destroyed on the court by superior competition. Will save the money for a trip to go watch our favorite team in a couple years when Underwood has his squad ready to compete at a higher level.
