We definitely didn't play as good as we could, but the Nats are on fire right now. I don't think we would've won this series even if we brought our best. I hope they go on to win the whole thing.

The NLCS was the only round of the playoffs the Cardinals hadn't been swept in before. They had been swept in the NLDS and the World Series but never the NLCS before tonight.

I know the analytics say to bring in the left handed Carpenter against Hudson but, I think I would have let Bader bat with the bases loaded in the 8th. Just was my immediate gut reaction.
