How do they determine whether to leave a match halved? Over in the Pepperdine match, the first pair is already onto the 20th hole...

That's what I thought... guess the only exception is if a match is tied when the team gets its 3rd match, it might be left as a tie.

Tough spot for the Illini now. Someone is going to have to flip a late deficit. Jerry Jinseems like the most likely. It’s too bad for Gio, he is playing well and has run into a hot opponent. ILL

The NCAA really nailed the championship format for golf. This is an incredible week of competition!

But we need ESPN, CBS or the Golf Channel to offer Match Play coverage on multiple TV channels.

Looks like we’re gonna come up just short. Oklahoma has 3 guys playing really well this week, we have 2... in the end that’s gonna be the difference.

Homecoming 2019
Can't seem to get over the match play hump. Very impressive to get this far so often over the last decade or two, keep doing that and things are bound to go our way eventually.

Tough day. Great season from the Illini but this will sting. If we would have gotten a matchup of Tadiotto or Kuhl vs Welch from OU the outcome may have been different. That’s how it goes though.
