What a tremendous accomplishment. And the combination of ADC coming back, and tracking down the back nine after such a rough start, while the new guy announces himself to the conference by dropping a birdie on 18 right in the thick of it to make the final difference. Fantastic job by the whole team, and thanks so much Coach Small!

Hey B1G Network, how did you not broadcast this?!? Did golf become unpopular on Sunday's without football?

Great way to close! This team produces winners. Special congrats to Piercen Hunt the sophomore who went even the final day, incredible round. Jackson the freshman with the birdie on 18. Such brutal conditions Tommy did great to go +5 on the day with no birdies. Jerry didn't have any either. This wind lately has been rough and yea I think if Illinois/MSU/Purdue was first group playing they'd have shot much better scores. Gutted for ADDC not winning the individual tournament after his amazing first round kept us in the hunt.

Apparently there will be coverage aired on May 14th on the BIG 10 network at 10 AM. The logistics of televising a golf tournament are much more difficult than a sport like volleyball or basketball. Have to have multiple cameras in multiple locations. Will be fun to watch.

2006: +24, NW winner at Conway Farms (MN +33 runnerup)

2012: +23, IL at French Lick (IN +26 runnerup)

2021: +19, IL at Crooked Stick (IA +20 runnerup)

ADC was on Big Today (BTN) a while ago. Great.

Looking like we'll be a 3 seed in this year's Regionals. I don't see much chance for movement up or down.

Golfstat has UNC ranked 7th, TTU 8th, Illinois 17th, WF 18th. NC state 29th, Charlotte 31st, North Florida 32nd, Georgia southern 47th, Ms state 54th, UVA 52nd. UCF and the rest are 70 and lower. Need to place top 8. What's good is we didn't get any truly elite top teams like Oklahoma, OSU, Vanderbilt, ASU, Pepperdine. The top few schools in my opinion are really a tier above. TTU has 2 very strong golfers that are just below ADDC in the rankings both top 20-40. And their best golfer is ranked 4th as an individual. I think we have a great shot at getting top 5 though. Just gotta advance. Go IllinI!
